Tom Walsh

Tom plays Guitar, Bass, Drums, Lead Guitar, and Piano.

Tom was born in Columbus, Ohio.   He moved to the Charlotte N.C. area 40 years ago.  Starting at the ripe age of 12 Tom and his sister Rosie started following the Beatles.  Rosie got a guitar for her birthday and after buying a Mel Bay chord book they self taught/earned a few chords so they could play like the Beatles.  It was an early onset of appreciating good vocal harmony.  Tom played in may bands starting with the system as a bass player and lead vocalist.  Growing up listening to Steppenwolf, 3 Dog Night, Crosby Stills, Nash and Young, Led Zeppelin, The Byrds etc.

Tom has played in several bands including The System, and Sierra Star in Ohio.  The live Vista release CD featured several talented musicians from the Charlotte area including: David Floyd, Rick Blackwell, Tim Gordon, Rick Murray, Robert McClure, and Lisa Dickson.  He has played with female vocalist Heather Elkin McCoy, and Amy Ramsey. When Tom plays live cover tunes, each song / each track is written individually.  Therefore, its Tom's interpretation of that song.
